About the Role
This position is for a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee of McDonald's, and not McDonald's USA itself. The franchisee independently oversees all employment-related activities, such as hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment decisions or applicant processing for this role.
Job Overview
As a General Manager, you will be entrusted with operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring that McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with your supervisor to set goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
Team Leadership
You will lead a group of Department Managers who hold specific responsibilities within the restaurant. Your duties will include guiding these managers in goal setting, monitoring their progress, and offering coaching to enhance department performance, which contributes to the overall success of the restaurant. Hiring and nurturing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future may also be part of your responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume establishments. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, while backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also considered valuable. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles at corporate-owned McDonald's locations.
