About the Role
This position is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee using McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee is an independent employer responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment matters and will not have access to your application or influence on hiring decisions.
The General Manager oversees running a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. They collaborate with their leadership to establish the restaurant's goals and develop plans to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, supporting them to set targets, monitor progress, and provide coaching for continuous improvement. They are also responsible for recruiting and developing both Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Qualifications & Experience
Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume establishments, preferably in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to manage corporate-owned McDonald's locations.
