Role Summary

The General Manager is accountable for operating a successful restaurant that consistently meets McDonald’s stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This pivotal position involves collaborating with leadership to establish business objectives and developing strategies to achieve them.

Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager supports them in setting individual goals, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to enhance their performance, ultimately elevating the restaurant’s overall success.

Responsibilities also include recruiting and mentoring Department and Shift Managers to ensure the establishment has the capable leadership team to drive future growth.

Ideal candidates come with prior General Manager experience in managing high-volume environments. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, though hospitality or retail backgrounds are also valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this General Manager role is $50,000 to $75,000 annually. Alongside competitive compensation, the position offers extensive benefits including:
