About the Role

The General Manager role at McDonald's is a leadership position focused on operating a profitable restaurant while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, assisting them in goal setting, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and guidance to enhance each department's performance. Success at the departmental level contributes directly to overall restaurant success. Additionally, the General Manager may recruit and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses prior experience as a General Manager, specifically at high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is highly favored, though experience in hospitality or retail is also relevant. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role in corporate-owned restaurants.
