General Manager

Role Overview

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and directing the successful operations and management of key venues and destination assets throughout Saudi Arabia. The General Manager holds complete accountability to ensure venues are performing optimally and prepared for operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Guarantee that venue operations are safe, compliant with regulations, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders and act as the organization's representative to clients.
• Develop and manage the venue’s Annual Business Plan alongside budgets and performance benchmarks.
• Provide inspiring leadership to the Venue Leadership Team.
• Foster a culture that values operational excellence, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
• Supervise readiness for new venue openings and significant events.
• Implement commercial strategies designed to maximize revenue while preserving a high-quality guest experience.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with event organizers and relevant governing bodies.
• Leverage data analytics and technological solutions to enhance operational outcomes.

People and Saudi Capability Development

• Lead recruitment efforts and organizational growth initiatives.
• Promote the advancement of local talent and facilitate knowledge sharing within the workforce.

Financial and Commercial Leadership

• Oversee the venue's financial health, including operational and capital budgeting.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams while ensuring efficient use of resources.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in venue management or affiliated sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise managing large venues or multiple destination assets.
• Comprehensive understanding of event operations coupled with financial management skills.
• Experience launching or mobilizing new venues is considered a plus.
