This position is with an independently operated franchisee of McDonald's, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's branding and products but operates as a separate employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA has no control over these employment decisions and will not receive your application.
About the Role
The General Manager is accountable for managing a profitable restaurant while ensuring that McDonald's core customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met—standards that are notably demanding. The role involves collaborating with leadership to establish restaurant objectives and developing strategic plans to fulfill them.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers by helping set goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to enhance departmental performance and overall restaurant success.
- Recruit, hire, and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for sustained operational excellence.
- Drive restaurant profitability by maintaining high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates should have proven experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations, preferably within quick-service restaurants or related sectors such as hospitality or retail. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
