About the Role
This opportunity exists at a restaurant independently owned and managed by a franchisee, which is separately operated from McDonald’s USA. Employment decisions, including hiring and management, are handled solely by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee uses McDonald’s trademarks and food products but is distinct in employment terms.
Position Overview
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a profitable restaurant operation that consistently meets McDonald’s high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness. This role involves goal setting alongside leadership, strategizing to achieve targets, and guiding a team of Assistant Managers. Supporting and coaching these managers to meet their departmental goals is essential to enhance overall restaurant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the restaurant to achieve profitability by enforcing McDonald’s customer experience standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and execute restaurant goals.
- Guide and support Assistant Managers in goal setting, progress monitoring, and performance improvement.
- Recruit and develop Assistant and Shift Managers, building a capable leadership team for the future.
- Maintain full-time availability with a flexible schedule, as operational needs require 24/7 coverage.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a General Manager in quick service restaurant settings.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
