Role Overview

The General Manager is entrusted with operating a thriving restaurant and ensuring it achieves McDonald's stringent standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership position involves collaborating closely with higher management to establish measurable restaurant objectives and formulating strategies to meet these targets.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager oversees and supports a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific areas of the restaurant. This includes setting departmental goals with them, monitoring progress, and offering coaching to enhance performance. Developing and mentoring Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should ideally possess prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume outlets. Backgrounds in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors are strongly preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial roles in corporate-operated McDonald's restaurants.
