About the Role
This role is with an independently owned franchise operating a McDonald's restaurant, separate from and independent of McDonald's USA. The franchisee is the direct employer responsible for all employment decisions and matters at the location.
Role Overview
The General Manager will lead the restaurant to profitability while upholding McDonald's high standards for quality, customer service, and cleanliness. Collaborating closely with leadership, you will set and pursue operational goals by guiding and supporting Department Managers to meet their targets through coaching and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall restaurant operations ensuring adherence to McDonald's critical standards.
- Work with leadership to establish measurable goals and implement plans to achieve them.
- Lead Department Managers by aiding goal-setting, monitoring progress, and providing training and support.
- Recruit, develop, and retain strong Department and Shift Managers to secure effective leadership for the restaurant's future.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates should have prior General Manager experience in managing high-volume outlets, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
