Overview
The General Manager is accountable for operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring that the establishment consistently meets McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role requires collaborating with department heads to establish clear goals and implementing strategies to achieve them effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a team of Department Managers, assisting them in goal setting and monitoring their progress.
- Provide coaching and direction to enhance the performance of each department, which contributes to overall restaurant success.
- Oversee recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline within the restaurant.
Candidate Profile
- Experience managing high volume restaurant locations is preferred.
- Background in quick service restaurants is highly valued; alternatively, experience in hospitality or retail sectors is suitable.
- Must be at least 18 years old to manage McDonald's owned and operated restaurants.
