About the Role
This position is with a restaurant licensed independently by a franchisee using McDonald's branding and food products. The franchisee is a separate employer from McDonald's USA, which has no role in employment decisions or management of staff at this location. All hiring, supervision, scheduling, and employment matters are handled solely by the franchisee.
Job Summary
The General Manager is charged with operating a profitable restaurant while ensuring it consistently meets McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership role involves partnering with their superior to establish and pursue the restaurant's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with Department Managers by aiding them in setting, tracking, and achieving departmental goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to improve individual departments and the overall restaurant performance.
- Recruit, develop, and retain Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team prepared for the restaurant’s future success.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has prior General Manager experience, preferably within busy quick-service restaurant environments. Experience in hospitality or retail management is also valued. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this managerial role in corporate-owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants.
