Overview
This position is at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and food products. Employment decisions, including hiring, firing, management and scheduling, are solely the responsibility of the franchisee and not McDonald's USA.
About the Role
As a General Manager, you will be accountable for the successful and profitable operation of the restaurant while upholding McDonald's high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with your leader to define goals and implement strategies to achieve them. Your leadership extends to managing a team of Department Managers, assisting them to set and reach their goals through coaching and oversight, ultimately enhancing restaurant performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Department Managers by establishing targets, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to optimize departmental output.
- Manage restaurant operations to ensure profitability and adherence to McDonald's quality standards.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor Department and Shift Managers to cultivate a skilled leadership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in managing high-traffic restaurant locations as a General Manager is highly preferred. Backgrounds in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail industries are advantageous. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to assume a managerial position.
