General Ledger Accountant

Job Location and Company Profile

This position is based in a desirable location at the heart of Hamburg Eppendorf. The employer is a holding company centrally located in Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for small corporations within the corporate group.
• Ensure that accounting records are always accurate and meaningful.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and consolidated financial statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and clarifications.
• Serve as a contact person for auditing, tax advisory, and operational audit teams.
• Prepare invoices.
• Contribute to projects and special topics.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training.
• Initial professional experience in financial accounting, ideally 2 to 3 years.
• Experience in tax consulting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken German skills.
• Good command of English.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Datev software.
• Structured and organized work approach.
