Job Overview

The General Labourer will play a vital role operating different packaging and mixing machinery in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This full-time position initially follows a MAD rotation with 8-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours weekly) but may transition to an alternative schedule involving 12-hour shifts (around 36 hours per week) based on business demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and accurately weigh ingredients for product blending processes.
• Operate mixing equipment ensuring correct process completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate within packaging line teams to manage packing, labeling, and palletizing tasks.
• Conduct sanitation and maintain excellent housekeeping within the plant environment.
• Maintain thorough sampling, documentation, and verification related to assigned duties.
• Exhibit teamwork, eagerness to learn, meticulous attention to detail, and pride in workmanship.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality, and Safety policies while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at minimum a High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent certification.
• Ability to operate hand tools, use digital scales combined with timers, and accurately input weights into computer systems.
• Previous exposure to manufacturing or food production environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• The starting hourly wage is $22.88 with additional shift premiums and eligibility for overtime pay.
