Position Overview

We are seeking a General Labourer to become an essential part of our production floor team. In this role, safety is fundamental, and you will support machine operations while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Compensation and Benefits

• Earn an hourly wage of $22.02
• Full-time position ensuring steady, guaranteed hours
• Work rotating shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical aptitude in a production environment; assist with machine setup tasks
• Support operators by adjusting feed guides, air, pressure, rolls, gauge belts, and clearing any machine jams
• Coordinate with operators regarding order sequencing and printing load tags
• Manually feed stock into machines and ensure continuous machine operation
• Perform quality checks including delamination, registration accuracy, and defect detection
• Immediately report equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors
• Conduct lockout procedures following established machine protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the manufacturing area, adhering to 5S, AIB, and other safety guidelines
• Assist with various other tasks as assigned

Candidate Profile

• Completed high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Basic proficiency in English for communication and safety purposes
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, including basic measurements
• Possess basic mechanical skills and familiarity with computers
• Detail-oriented with strong abilities in quality assurance and problem-solving
• Excellent communication and teamwork orientation
• Effective time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure with initiative
