Job Overview
Join Aramark Canada as a General Utility Worker in Vancouver, where you will play a critical role in upholding cleanliness and sanitation within our kitchen and service areas. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
- Keep the dishwashing station, including the three-compartment sink and adjacent areas, clean and organized.
- Inspect equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning, reporting maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Perform light maintenance and custodial duties as needed to support daily operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a positive and professional demeanor towards guests, clients, coworkers, and customers.
- Follow Aramark’s safety protocols rigorously, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Safeguard company property and assets by adhering to security practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
- Ability to comply with safety procedures, particularly concerning handling hazardous chemicals.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
