Job description
Job Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive support at Tim Hortons, including preparing food and beverages precisely to customer requests and delivering excellent customer service. Report directly to the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare food and drink items carefully according to customer instructions.
- Deliver top-tier customer service by attentively serving guests.
- Sanitize all frequently touched surfaces every two hours or immediately if visibly dirty.
- Refill coffee machine bean hopper as needed.
- Maintain and replenish the condiment station regularly.
- Keep accurate logs of discarded or diverted inventory and securely store these items.
- Stock products based on sales trends.
- Manage time effectively to accomplish tasks efficiently.
- Engage with customers to promptly and politely resolve complaints.
- Utilize the Dynamify system for sales recording and payment processing.
- Perform weekly expiration checks and remove outdated items, following FIFO and FEFO procedures.
- Carry out fridge/freezer temperature monitoring and other health and safety logs as assigned.
- Collaborate with colleagues to uphold company service standards as well as inventory and cash control policies.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality assurance policies at all times.
- Complete opening and closing checklists and necessary reporting duties.
- Ensure cleaning is performed precisely to designated standards.
- Attend weekly safety meetings, complete cleaning checklists, and perform station inventories weekly.
- Complete all company-required 24/7 and Tim Hortons training modules.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada for at least one year.
