Geek Squad Delivery Driver

Overview

Join our team as a Geek Squad Delivery Driver where you will handle delivery, installation, repair, and removal of appliances, televisions, and various tech products. This role involves navigating best approaches to bring major appliances indoors, including measuring and safeguarding pathways and determining if door removal or fixture adjustments are needed. Internally known as Delivery Experience Agent, this position ensures customers receive efficient and professional service directly at their doorstep.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform delivery duties including installation, networking, and repair focused on home theater equipment and appliances.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences by advising on product placement, services, and related information.
• Collaborate with teammates to manage inventory and maintain the delivery vehicle.
• Complete required paperwork and payments, provide store feedback, and conduct in-store repairs.
• Train newly hired drivers and lead or assist on tasks requiring multiple personnel.
• Operate independently as well as part of two-person teams when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of six months’ experience in customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery.
• Possession of a valid, current driver’s license.
• Driving record that complies with company safety standards (limited violations/accidents).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 350 pounds alone or up to 700 pounds as part of a team using equipment like harnesses or dollies.
• Age requirement: at least 21 years old.
• Willingness and ability to attain and maintain any required state or local licenses within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership capabilities with strong decision-making, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Background in in-home installations.
• Familiarity and experience with technology products and learning about new tech offerings.
