Role Overview

Join our team at Anthony Wilding Retirement Village in Christchurch as a full-time Gardener, contributing to the upkeep and beauty of various gardens in a resort-style setting. You'll work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to maintain the gardens for residents, their families, and staff.
• Ensure the grounds are well-serviced, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for everyone.
• Manage a diverse range of garden areas including bowling greens, water features, residential, and shared spaces.
• Provide support and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in gardening or landscaping roles.
• Strong problem-solving abilities paired with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A dependable, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Preferred: Qualifications in horticulture.
