Job Role

The Gardener position is a full-time, on-premises role located in Pune City. Responsibilities encompass daily upkeep of outdoor landscapes such as planting, trimming, weeding, fertilizing, and caring for lawns to maintain healthy and attractive gardens. The role involves vigilance over plant wellbeing, identifying pest and disease issues, assisting with irrigation management, and helping to implement garden design and seasonal planting strategies. The role also includes maintaining garden pathways and outdoor fittings while collaborating closely with supervisors and team members to safely and efficiently carry out scheduled maintenance and development projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in landscape upkeep and gardening, including lawn care and plant maintenance.
• Hands-on gardening experience involving planting, pruning, weeding, and routine garden tasks.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems covering basic setup, daily operation, and maintenance checks.
• Understanding of garden design concepts to aid in plant placement and aesthetic enhancement.
• Capability to perform physically demanding work outdoors under various weather conditions.
• Good attention to detail, foundational knowledge of plant health, pest control, and disease recognition.
• Effective communication skills and ability to adhere strictly to instructions and safety protocols.
• Previous landscaping or gardening experience is preferred; horticulture training or certification is a bonus.
