Job Overview

We seek a diligent and dependable Gardener to oversee and maintain the garden, land, plants, trees, villa boundaries, and office plants at IWLD. The role demands upkeep of greenery, cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and overall outdoor presentation at both villa and office premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily caretaking of villa and office gardens as well as outdoor green spaces.
• Regular watering of plants, trees, grass, and flower beds.
• Pruning and shaping of plants, hedges, grass, and bushes.
• Clearing dry leaves, weeds, unwanted vegetation, and garden waste.
• Maintaining the garden’s cleanliness and visual appeal consistently.
• Looking after indoor and outdoor plants, monitoring health and identifying damaged or weak specimens.
• Applying manure, compost, fertilizers, and additional soil as needed.
• Re-potting, relocating, and arranging plants appropriately.
• Protecting plants from insects, pests, and diseases.
• Upholding the land surrounding the villa and ensuring boundaries are tidy and weed-free.
• Keeping entrance, walkways, parking, and outdoor areas neat and well-presented.
• Reporting any damage related to boundary walls, gates, pipes, garden lighting, or outdoor fixtures to administration.
• Maintaining hygiene in the outdoor spaces by sweeping paths and entrances.
• Ensuring absence of garbage, plastic waste, dry debris, or water blockages in outdoor areas.
• Using and maintaining gardening tools (e.g., cutters, scissors, hosepipe, grass cutter, spade, rake) responsibly and storing them securely.
• Notifying admin for any garden-related supply needs such as tools, fertilizers, or plant material.
• Assisting with moving plants, pots, soil bags, furniture, and garden items when necessary.
• Supporting outdoor decoration and setup for events like shoots, podcasts, and guest visits.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure outdoor cleanliness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous gardening or landscaping experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with plant watering, trimming techniques, soil care, manure application, and basic pest control methods.
• Competence in handling gardening equipment and tools.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing outdoor work.
• Traits of honesty, punctuality, discipline, and strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of cleanliness and how to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
