Gaming & IT Technical Manager

Role Overview

We are searching for a skilled Gaming & IT Technical Manager to lead the gaming, IT, drone, and recreational technology operations within an exclusive private estate catering to a VVIP client and their guests. This position involves overseeing daily technical functions, managing a dedicated team, ensuring systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standard, and delivering exceptional recreational technology experiences.

Main Duties

• Manage and direct the gaming, IT, drone, and recreational technology team, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance to ensure quality standards.
• Develop work schedules, coordinate staffing for regular operations and special events, and maintain accountability through clear procedures and reporting methods.
• Oversee setup, maintenance, configuration, and optimization of gaming PCs, consoles, peripherals, and related IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems are updated, secure, and ready for use.
• Lead resolution efforts for hardware, software, networking, and system performance issues, offering technical support and guidance to the team.
• Manage drone equipment maintenance, ensuring inspections, firmware updates, battery care, and regulatory compliance are conducted consistently.
• Plan and coordinate gaming, drone, and other technology-based recreational activities customized to client preferences and occasions.
• Administer asset management, including inventory control, equipment check-in/out processes, maintenance records, and condition reporting to guarantee operational reliability.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules and collaborate with external service providers for complex repairs.
• Provide regular operational and performance reports to household management, advise on improvements, and recommend technology upgrades based on needs.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in managing technical teams in IT, gaming technology, or related entertainment technology fields.
• In-depth knowledge of gaming hardware, consoles, PCs, peripherals, and IT systems.
• Proficient in leadership, team motivation, scheduling, and personnel development.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support of technical systems.
• Familiarity with drone technology and operational procedures is preferred.
• Experience with asset management, inventory oversight, preventative maintenance, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational, planning, delegation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while ensuring consistent operational readiness.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive decision-making approach.
• High discretion, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality necessary for VVIP environments.
