Role Overview
The FX Advisor plays an essential role in guiding customers through the complexities of foreign exchange. By delivering expert advice on international transactions, the role contributes directly to client success and business growth within OCBC's FX division.
Responsibilities
- Offer professional guidance on foreign exchange deals and market trends to clients.
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers to grasp their financial objectives.
- Conduct market data analysis to uncover opportunities and assess risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft and execute FX strategies.
- Remain informed on regulatory updates and market developments affecting FX products.
Candidate Profile
- Degree-holder in relevant disciplines like finance or economics.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a comparable role, ideally within banking or finance sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange markets and their products.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Adaptable to quickly changing environments and fast-paced work settings.
- Strong problem-solving mindset coupled with analytical skills.
