Job description
Job Overview and Responsibilities
This role involves operating various modular furniture machinery including panel saws, edge banding machines, CNC machines, drilling equipment, and cutting machines. The candidate will be required to interpret furniture drawings and precise measurements to accurately cut, drill, edge-band, and assemble components made from MDF, particle board, plywood, and laminate materials while ensuring adherence to dimensional and quality standards.
Key Duties
- Operate and maintain modular furniture production machines.
- Read and interpret furniture design drawings and specifications carefully.
- Precisely cut, drill, and edge-band panels according to design requirements.
- Assemble furniture components ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts to detect size irregularities, edge finishing issues, or defects.
- Meet daily production goals and adhere to planned schedules.
- Conduct regular maintenance and promptly report any machinery malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production workspace.
- Collaborate effectively with the production supervisor and team members to ensure smooth operations.
