Fundraising Principal - Private Equity

Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Fundraising Principal specializing in Private Equity to spearhead our capital raising efforts. The selected individual will be responsible for leading strategic fundraising activities, cultivating a wide-ranging investor base, and managing complex relationships to achieve significant capital commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed fundraising plans targeting institutional investors, family offices, and high net worth individuals.
• Develop and maintain a strong and diverse network of investors to support aggressive fundraising goals.
• Lead efforts to raise at least $200 million in private equity either independently or as part of a team.
• Coordinate the design and presentation of investor materials including private placement memorandums and marketing documents.
• Act as the company representative at investor conferences, roadshows, and premier industry gatherings.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure fundraising efforts align with the firm's broader investment goals.
• Keep senior leadership informed with timely updates, strategic insights, and analysis of market trends and investor feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, with an MBA being preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in fundraising within private equity or related fields.
• Proven track record of successfully raising significant capital commitments amounting to at least $200 million.
• Robust network among institutional investors, family offices, and high net worth individuals.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with exceptional communication and negotiation talents.
• Proficiency in English required; knowledge of additional European languages such as Italian, German, Spanish, French, or Greek is an advantage.
