Functional Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst with over ten years of experience, especially skilled in executing data-related projects. The ideal candidate will utilize expertise in MS Excel, including Macros, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, while overseeing software development lifecycles integrated with JIRA.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage with Business Unit Specialists to collect, examine, and validate both functional and non-functional business requirements in alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct impact assessments and analyze future business and operational processes to ensure alignment with documented requirements.
• Define clear, detailed requirement specifications while managing risks related to scope and requirements changes.
• Translate business needs to System Analysts ensuring comprehensiveness and clarity, and maintain traceability between specifications and requirements.
• Review test plans and functional testing scopes while supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including managing defect prioritization, tracking, and resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• More than 10 years of proven experience in business analysis, with a strong emphasis on data-centric project delivery.
• Advanced SQL capabilities and in-depth knowledge of relational databases.
• Practical expertise in data profiling, validation, mapping, and transformation.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint oriented towards data analysis and effective reporting.
• Familiarity with change management processes and fundamental project management principles.
• A collaborative team player with leadership qualities who can foster teamwork and address complex challenges.
• Demonstrates passion, dedication, and resilience with the ability to work effectively under ambiguous conditions and pressure.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills focused on establishing strong relationships with stakeholders.
