About the Role
Join TikTok's messaging team, dedicated to enhancing meaningful user interactions through an emerging messaging experience on the platform. As a graduate engineer, you'll have the chance to explore innovative ideas, tackle complex technical challenges, and grow professionally in an inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy user-facing features for TikTok's mobile applications.
- Engage in backend development as needed to ensure seamless end-to-end product delivery.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to craft a top-tier mobile user experience.
- Evaluate and improve application performance and stability on mobile devices.
- Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code and actively participate in peer code reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Solid foundation in computer science principles including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, with proficiency in at least one mobile development programming language.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude along with effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in mobile development through internships or project work, ideally covering the full software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile app development frameworks.
