Full-Time Store Cleaning and Operations Associate

Role Overview

This position focuses on maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming retail environment. Starting early each day, the associate ensures all aspects of the store are clean and operational processes are supported to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Duties

• Thoroughly clean all store sections such as floors, windows, restrooms, and trash areas according to Kohl's established standards and guidelines.
• Use only company-approved cleaning agents, equipment, and supplies to uphold safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of cleaning chemicals and materials, maintaining appropriate storage and rotation.
• Complete all mandated training related to chemical safety, equipment handling, and maintenance procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on cleaning tools following company protocols.
• Utilize Kohl's internal technologies and tools for communication, planning, and coordination with the store team.
• Assist the operations crew with product receiving, stockroom tasks, and omni-channel order fulfillment when necessary.
• Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance regarding products and services.

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service capabilities coupled with exceptional multitasking and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills.
• No prior retail experience is necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing retail or customer service environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
