We are currently hiring full-time Security Guards in Winnipeg, Manitoba to join our diverse and inclusive workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe and report on activities and incidents at client locations to ensure the safety and security of property, assets, and personnel.
• Conduct routine patrols inspecting for irregularities and ensuring protection devices and fire equipment are functional.
• Maintain order by enforcing site regulations for personnel and visitors.
• Control site access through a secure admittance process.
• Perform foot or vehicle patrols checking for hazards, security breaches, unlocked doors, mechanical issues, and unauthorized individuals.
• Deliver excellent customer service while minimizing risks to client assets.
• Monitor intrusion detection systems using automated alarms and video surveillance software.
• Use computer software to monitor sites and complete required training modules.
• Secure evidence and incident scenes during accidents, emergencies, or investigations.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid provincial Security Guard License.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
• Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in security roles.
• Understanding of security operations and procedures.
• Excellent organizational capabilities.
• Ability to create routine reports and maintain logs.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Physical capability to walk, stand, and perform patrol duties.

Working Hours & Schedule

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
