Job Overview

As a Sales Associate, your expertise in pet nutrition and products will help pet owners select the best options for their companions. You will join a team of passionate pet experts dedicated to excellent customer service and continuous learning within a leading pet retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and assist customers with purchases.
• Manage merchandise orders, complete banking tasks, and handle related paperwork.
• Stock small items (under 10 lbs) including pet supplies and household goods in the sales area.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, and performing other general upkeep.
• Assist unloading delivery trucks by moving cases and bags of pet food and supplies (up to 50 lbs) into stock.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
