Job Opportunity
We seek enthusiastic educators to teach live virtual classes to Years 9 through 12 students, covering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 and 3 curriculum. This role is fully remote for New Zealand-based applicants, promoting a close-knit online learning community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct live online lessons five days weekly with engaging content
- Craft customized learning experiences tailored to individual needs
- Establish trusting relationships with students in a virtual environment
- Collaborate with a team of talented, innovative educators
- Facilitate student progress using differentiated instructional strategies
- Provide detailed formative and summative assessments, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals
- Contribute actively to the curriculum team's growth and dynamics
- Develop genuine partnerships with parents and caregivers, providing reports to support student learning
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory: NZ Teaching Registration
- Relevant teaching qualifications and subject matter expertise
- Strong proficiency with the NCEA curriculum at Levels 2 and 3
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in digital technologies
- Preferred: Experience teaching IGCSE curriculum
- Experience in online or blended learning environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms
