Full-Time Porter

Overview

Bon Appétit Management Company is actively hiring for a full-time Porter role located at Pinterest, 1730 Minor Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101. This position offers a workweek of 40 hours, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with specific days varying and further details provided during the interview process. Previous experience in commercial dishwashing, front-of-house duties, and food plating is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house areas including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.
• Bus, clear, clean tables, and sweep floors before and during peak service times.
• Transport dishes and utensils safely from front of house to kitchen using trays, bus tubs or carts while adhering to safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots; sanitize cooking stations and equipment to ensure smooth service and compliance with sanitation standards.
• Scrape and rinse food residues from dishes, washing by hand or using dishwashing machines as assigned, ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keep display equipment clean and free from debris, maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout meal service.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and transporting items to storage areas, following safe lifting guidelines.
• Confirm proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperature maintenance in line with HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal and team safety, following company policies such as use of appropriate protective gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation

The pay range offered for this position is between $23.00 and $25.00 per hour. Additionally, an internal employee referral bonus is available.
