Position Overview

The role involves teaching engaging Physics lessons live online to students from Years 9 to 13, covering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 and 3. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere within New Zealand while fostering a strong and supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live Physics classes online five days a week.
• Create customized learning experiences adapted to individual student needs.
• Establish trust and connection with students within a virtual classroom setting.
• Collaborate with a team of innovative and high-quality educators.
• Support student learning progress through differentiated teaching approaches.
• Deliver comprehensive formative and summative assessments with constructive feedback aligned to curriculum objectives.
• Contribute to curriculum team development and overall school growth.
• Engage and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to support student learning.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Registration as a New Zealand teacher.
• Relevant teaching qualification in Science with specialization in Physics.
• Thorough understanding of the NCEA Level 2 and 3 curriculum.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with digital technology tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience teaching IGCSE curriculum.
