Full Time Merchandising Service Associate - Day Shift

About the Role

As a Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you serve as an essential link between Merchandising and Store Operations. Your focus is on creating attractive, accessible product displays and ensuring signage and pricing are accurate to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising resets and service projects following Lowe's guidelines and provide proof of completion.
• Manage buyback items by verifying, prepping, and preparing them for shipment.
• Maintain and update wayfinding signage and product location information, including digital updates throughout the store.
• Ensure all product pricing is clear and price labels are present and accurate.
• Promote add-on sales by staging clearance items and organizing products appropriately in the store.
• Repair or replace damaged signage, merchandise, or displays as needed.
• Communicate project priorities and schedules with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze execution metrics and provide feedback on project results to store and corporate leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working on the sales floor at Lowe's.
• Familiar with product merchandising tasks, including interpreting planograms and assembling displays.
• Operation of powered equipment like lifts and order pickers.
• Knowledge of basic tools such as drills, saws, and hand tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (add and subtract).
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to listen attentively.
• Competence with web-based computer programs for completing assigned tasks.
• Physical stamina to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift minimally 25 pounds unassisted or more with accommodations.

Working Conditions

Work environments vary, potentially including both indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to diverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, wind, or drafts. Noise levels may range from constant to intermittent alongside moving or vibrating equipment. Lifting guidelines must be followed, typically restricting single lifts to 75 pounds, with team lifts or powered equipment use as necessary.
