Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Key Carrier Coordinator position combines duties of a Coordinator with occasional leadership responsibilities, adapting to the needs of the store. This role demands availability including nights and weekends, and exemplifies outstanding customer service standards.

• Foster a welcoming experience for customers inside and outside the store
• Maintain a culture emphasizing honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
• Serve as Manager on Duty, following company policies and procedures
• Oversee completion of store tasks aligned with the store plan, prioritizing as required
• Address immediate customer service concerns and coach associates accordingly
• Use discretion in applying customer service policies to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain appropriate associate coverage within service areas for optimal customer experience
• Ensure all associates comply with operational procedures
• Manage store opening and closing procedures per company standards
• Communicate efficiently with management and associates on priorities and progress updates
• Offer and receive recognition and constructive feedback
• Provide coaching, recognition, and performance feedback to associates
• Collaborate with management on associate training needs to boost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and procedures
• Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers
• Contribute to shrink reduction initiatives and safety awareness to uphold a secure environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

• Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• A team-oriented individual capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
• Adaptable in responding to changes and unforeseen circumstances
• Familiarity with company standard software, systems, and operational procedures
• Understanding of merchandise flow within retail stores
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Adept at coaching, delegation, and following up on multiple tasks and personnel
• Ability to act decisively in challenging situations
• Skillful in managing multiple tasks concurrently
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Minimum of one year retail experience and at least six months leadership experience

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers an initial hourly wage from $17.00 to $17.50, dependent upon skills, qualifications, and experience.
