Full-Time Janitor

Overview

ESFM, the Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, is currently seeking multiple full-time janitors to work at 121 Commerce Ave, Greencastle, PA, 17225. ESFM focuses on providing comprehensive facility management solutions ensuring safe, healthy, and sustainable environments across various industries including Life Science, Technology, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings through heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.
• Collect and properly dispose of trash according to established procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved protocols.
• Shift equipment and furniture as needed for thorough cleaning and return them to proper places afterward.
• Sanitize all surfaces utilizing assigned materials and tools, adhering to the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to uphold a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Take initiative to identify and clean areas requiring attention proactively.
• Complete all assignments provided by supervisors and perform duties in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Perform floor stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet shampooing.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule and Location

Open availability is preferred, with detailed scheduling information provided at the interview stage. The position is based in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, but accepts online applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $18.03 to $23.13 per hour.
