Full-Time Housekeeper

Role Summary

This position involves completing daily housekeeping tasks to ensure that the community environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Coordinate housekeeping efforts with management to clean resident living and recreational areas.
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, ledges, and climate control units in rooms and common spaces according to instructions.
• Sanitize bathroom fixtures thoroughly and remove water stains.
• Clean windows and mirrors throughout residents' rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrances/exits.
• Maintain cleanliness of walls and ceilings through washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
• Remove contaminants such as dirt, dust, grease, and films using appropriate cleaning and disinfecting agents.
• Properly dispose of waste and replace trash can liners.
• Notify supervisors about supply needs.
• Clean and store cleaning tools and equipment at shift end.
• Execute additional tasks and special projects as directed by supervisors.

Education & Experience

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move around continuously during the shift.
• Capability to reach, bend, or stoop multiple times during the workday.
• Ability to stand or walk for about 75% of the working hours.
• Ability to push, pull, or maneuver objects weighing up to 100 pounds with appropriate body mechanics and help.
• Possession of adequate vision and hearing, or use of prosthetics, to meet job requirements.
