Schedule Requirements

• Availability needed for 3-4 days from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Must be available on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate with a focus on safety to build trust with customers, pets, and team members.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic store environment, particularly in the grooming salons.
• Perform routine cleaning duties in the grooming area, including cleaning cages, tubs, tables, floors, and grooming tools like clipper blades, scissors, and brushes to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Provide empathetic and courteous customer interactions, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service tailored with compassion to accommodate different situations.
• Welcome and acknowledge every customer and pet respectfully, consistently offering positive and solution-driven service.
• Coordinate and participate in community outreach events within and outside the store and build partnerships with local animal rescues and care providers.
• Perform professional grooming services such as clipping, hand scissoring, baths, pedicures, and ear cleaning for various dog breeds and cats, adapting techniques to coat types and owner instructions.
• Consult with customers to recommend appropriate products and services for their pets.
• Contribute to driving sales, achieving store performance goals, and meeting key performance indicators.
• Stay updated on pet grooming industry standards via company training platforms.
• Assist in phone handling, appointment booking, reminder calls, and support store events to boost business.
• Support Self-Wash/Dog Wash operations and cooperate effectively with the store manager and other team members.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures and implement marketing and corporate initiatives following brand guidelines.
• Use the Point of Sale system accurately and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education

• At least 1 year of professional experience in bathing and grooming animals.
• Familiarity with computerized booking systems.
