About the Role and Employer

TouchPoint Support Services, a part of Compass Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join their team at Ascension Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, KS. Their mission centers on delivering hospitality and service excellence to patients, families, and visitors in healthcare settings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen utensils either manually or using dishwashing equipment according to assigned procedures.
• Polish silverware utilizing appropriate machinery or hand methods ensuring thorough cleanliness and sanitation.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain compliance with temperature and chemical standards.
• Maintain orderly dishwashing areas and keep kitchen floors swept and mopped following sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces diligently.
• Manage waste by removing trash, cleaning garbage cans, and disposing of waste properly.
• Assist in transferring and handling supplies and equipment between storage and work zones.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with shifts running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and alternatively from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. More scheduling details will be provided during interviews.

Training and Compensation

New hires receive a week of training to familiarize themselves with procedures and standards. The hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $16.00.
