Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies, including those regarding labor practices, ethics, health and safety, compliance, patient privacy (HIPAA), and patient rights
• Participate in departmental meetings as required
• Assume accountability for personal and professional development, including maintaining any needed certifications or licenses
• Complete mandatory annual training and competency assessments
• Adhere strictly to the policies and procedures relevant to your work area
• Execute assigned cleaning schedules and related duties consistently
• Assist with meal preparation tasks such as tray arrangement, loading food carts, and serving meals
• Prepare the dining area and provide service support to residents
• Wash dishes thoroughly and store them properly
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash promptly
• Keep dining and surrounding areas free from debris and hazards
• Report supply and equipment needs following established protocols
• Help receive and store food and other supplies efficiently
• Observe all safety codes and infection control procedures during task execution
• Understand and follow fire and disaster response plans during drills and emergencies
• Stay informed regarding all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations and policies
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by management
