Full-Time Baker

Job Overview

We seek a dedicated Baker to contribute to an outstanding guest experience within our bakery department. The role involves preparing products, maintaining quality and freshness, and assisting with customer interactions.

Key Duties

• Warmly greet and engage with customers to provide friendly service.
• Prepare bakery items by baking, weighing, and setting prices appropriately.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained with fresh, high-quality products.
• Perform cake decorating responsibilities upon request.
• Uphold hygiene standards across all bakery workspaces including coolers, freezers, preparation, and sales areas.
• Relay customer requests and temperature issues promptly to management or supervisors.
• Keep supply areas orderly and clean at all times.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Help maintain efficient checkout flow ensuring minimal customer wait times.
• Communicate promotional specials and sales via the public announcement system.
• Support receiving and proper storage of bakery deliveries.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Be cooperative and able to work effectively with team members.
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to comprehend written instructions and directions accurately.
• Strong communication skills alongside excellent customer service and sales capabilities.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, and stand for prolonged durations.
