About the Role
Shine Arts Creative Studio in Singapore seeks a full-time Art Teacher who is enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated to inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong art background and a genuine passion for working with children, fostering both skill development and creative expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging and dynamic art classes for children of various age groups, utilizing multiple mediums such as drawing, painting, mixed media, crafts, and clay projects.
- Customize lessons to accommodate varying skill levels and encourage individual creativity and expression.
- Manage classrooms independently to create a safe, organized, and positive learning atmosphere.
- Develop lesson plans and sample artworks ahead of classes.
- Collaborate with the studio team on new project ideas, seasonal themes, holiday camps, workshops, and special activities.
- Prepare and clean teaching spaces and materials, track art supplies inventory, and assist in maintaining artwork displays and studio presentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing professional updates on students' progress when suitable.
- Exhibit patience and professionalism when supporting younger or special needs children.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong abilities in drawing and painting fundamentals.
- Proficiency with diverse art materials and techniques.
- Previous experience teaching children is highly preferred.
- Exemplary patience, organizational skills, responsibility, and energy.
- Effective spoken English and communication capabilities.
- Capability to independently manage classroom dynamics.
- Willingness to work weekends and school holidays as required.
- Commitment to a full-time role at the studio.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep enjoyment for teaching and engaging with children.
- Balanced creativity with strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative without continuous supervision.
- Comfortable blending structured teaching with imaginative creative exploration.

Additional Details
- Work schedule includes five days per week with weekend commitments as needed.
- Position based onsite at Shine Arts Creative Studio, Singapore.
- Immediate or near-future start preferred, within one month.
