Full Stack Software Engineer (Java, React, Python) - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers for a contract opportunity working remotely from anywhere in the world. This role involves contributing to AI training projects by developing, debugging, and evaluating software engineering solutions across both front-end and back-end systems. You'll engage in designing system architecture, code reviews, and translating codebases between programming languages.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot components of front-end and back-end applications.
• Create user-facing functionality alongside APIs, data models, and supporting services.
• Trace data flow and requests across browsers, APIs, services, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Navigate unfamiliar repositories and comprehend existing software system architectures.
• Identify and resolve issues related to application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment processes.
• Analyze and refine codebases written in multiple programming languages for performance, correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Review AI-generated code solutions ensuring completeness and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience building and maintaining production-grade full-stack applications.
• Hands-on expertise in both front-end and back-end development disciplines.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages used in production environments.
• Deep understanding of browser behavior, API design, application state management, database interactions, and service integrations.
• Experience contributing to overall software architecture across entire applications.
• Comfort and ability to efficiently work within unfamiliar or legacy codebases.
• Strong analytical skills for debugging and solving technical problems effectively.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• This is a freelance contractor role requiring approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own days and hours including weekends.
• Compensation is task-based, ranging from $50 to $100 per task completed in accordance with project criteria.
• A minimum task submission is required weekly to maintain active status.
