Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer specialized in React and NodeJS, with over 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance responsive web applications and developing robust backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level responsive web applications using ReactJS with TypeScript, HTML, CSS pre-processors, or CSS-in-JS techniques.
• Design and implement reusable, self-contained, and testable UI components based on React concepts.
• Architect and automate production build processes employing task runners and scripts.
• Monitor and enhance front-end performance.
• Develop scalable and highly available RESTful APIs leveraging NodeJS and related technologies.
• Engage with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, troubleshooting distributed service issues.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate with API gateways like 3Scale and implement single sign-on or token-based authentication using REST, JWT, OAuth protocols.
• Use and manage task/message queues such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
• Implement frontend testing frameworks and testing strategies, including unit testing with Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or equivalents.
• Write well-documented, idiomatic, and performant JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Optimize code by adopting advanced programming techniques like multi-threading and non-blocking code practices.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of platform, database, API, caching, proxies, and other web services used in application architecture.

Technical Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience coding with ReactJS (TypeScript), HTML, CSS-in-JS solutions such as Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, and Material UI.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript data structures and advanced JavaScript (ES6+) features.
• Familiarity with React core principles and workflows including Flux, Redux, ContextAPI, or similar.
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools including npm and yarn.
• Competent with version control, remote deployment, and CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of container orchestration and microservice communication.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring techniques.
• Experience with GraphQL is advantageous.
• Banking or retail domain experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with linter tools such as TSLint and Prettier.

Additional Information

This role demands expertise in delivering highly responsive user interface components and working within complete application stacks to ensure performance and scalability. The candidate will be expected to document code thoroughly using JSDoc or similar standards and contribute actively to improving the software development lifecycle.
