About the Role
Masarat Insurance Brokerage is developing a digital medical insurance platform tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises. We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on back-end development to join our core technical team. You will contribute to an active microservices-based platform integrated with various insurance companies, payment gateways, and national verification services, taking full ownership of functionality from backend APIs through to frontend interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Create and improve frontend interfaces using Angular, focusing on components, services, and forms.
- Integrate multiple third-party services including insurers, payment gateways, and verification APIs.
- Develop unit and integration tests while participating in peer code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Support application testing, manage release processes, and resolve production issues.
- Produce documentation and adhere to data protection and secure coding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Between one and two years of professional development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Practical experience working with Angular, especially TypeScript, component architecture, and form handling.
- Strong knowledge of developing and consuming RESTful APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and managing SQL databases, preferably MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git version control and working within a structured development workflow.
- Quick learner capable of understanding and adapting to existing codebases, and collaborating effectively within a small team.
- Proficient communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with microservices architecture, and technologies like Kafka or Redis.
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, or cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, especially with Keycloak implementation.
- Background in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
