Full Stack Developer (Java)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer proficient in Java to design and build comprehensive web applications. The role involves crafting both the client-side interface and the server-side logic, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and architect full stack web applications using Java prioritizing robust performance and scalability.
• Handle front-end development including UI implementation and back-end services operation and maintenance.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams such as designers, product owners, and fellow developers to deliver effective and well-rounded software solutions.
• Engage in thorough code reviews, offering valuable feedback to peers to maintain code standards.
• Maintain clean, well-commented codebase adhering to established best practices and development guidelines.
• Diagnose and solve technical challenges and optimize performance issues.
• Drive improvements in development workflows and tooling to elevate efficiency and quality.
• Update and enhance existing software applications through patches and feature additions.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Developer or equivalent role with strong expertise in Java programming.
• Comprehensive understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficient in working with both relational databases (e.g., SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experienced in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and familiar with web services architectures.
• Competence in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies for software development.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate within teams.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related discipline or commensurate professional experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
