Full Stack Developer

Overview

XPT Software Australia seeks a skilled Full Stack Developer proficient in both frontend and backend development technologies. The successful applicant will demonstrate thorough experience in React.js for frontend creation and Node.js with Express.js for backend services and API construction. Basic familiarity with Python is also advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, upgrade, and sustain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Create reusable, responsive frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Construct and manage backend applications utilizing Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to enhance application capabilities.
• Integrate frontend interfaces seamlessly with backend services and external APIs.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code adhering to organizational best practices.
• Investigate and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and integration areas.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect fixes to uphold application quality.
• Engage with databases to execute proper data retrieval and integration methods.
• Assist with build processes, deployment, and release activities spanning various environments.
• Collaborate actively with developers, testers, product owners, analysts, and other team members to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including technical discussions, effort estimation, and sprint completion.
• Enhance application performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Utilize Python for basic scripting, automation, data handling, or to support development tasks as needed.
