Job description
Role Overview
Our client, a rapidly expanding iGaming company, is looking for a passionate Frontend Developer with experience in iGaming or gaming sectors. This position involves designing and maintaining top-tier, responsive gaming interfaces for both mobile and desktop devices, collaborating intensively with designers, backend developers, and product teams to create visually attractive, efficient, and dependable game frontends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop game frontends encompassing visual effects, interactive elements, animations, audio integration, and connection to game APIs.
- Manage shared code packages including core frameworks and UI modules, overseeing version control and updates across multiple projects.
- Ensure responsive design across three layouts: phone portrait, phone landscape, and desktop/tablet, validated on actual devices.
- Create and execute unit tests, conducting thorough browser-based verification prior to delivery.
- Advance automated testing procedures and frontend performance evaluation continuously.
Mandatory Qualifications
- At least three years of professional experience with React and TypeScript under strict mode, avoiding reliance on 'any' type.
- Minimum of three years working within iGaming or gaming industries.
- Proficient in writing handcrafted CSS/SCSS for responsive layouts without using UI framework templates.
- Strong understanding of animation and timing techniques, including requestAnimationFrame, CSS transitions, and CSS animations.
- Experience debugging on mobile platforms such as iOS Safari and Android Chrome.
- Ability to write unit tests with familiarity in Vitest or Jest testing frameworks.
- Competent in integrating AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) into daily development workflows, including decomposing requirements and meticulously reviewing AI-generated code.
- Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
Desirable Skills
- Experience maintaining and releasing shared SDKs, code packages, or monorepos.
- Knowledge of build optimization tools like Vite and Rollup, including code splitting and bundle analysis.
- Familiarity with Canvas 2D, WebGL, and Web Audio API.
- Understanding real-time streaming technologies such as SSE and WebSocket.
- A strong design sensibility with the ability to contribute to visual hierarchy, layout, and interactive detail refinement.
- Experience building AI-driven development workflows, including documentation, prompt/agent workflow design, and multi-channel pipeline integrations.
