Job Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation at the company by welcoming visitors, managing communications, scheduling meetings, and providing administrative aid.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors courteously and professionally.
- Answer incoming calls, screen them, and forward appropriately.
- Arrange and oversee appointments and meetings.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as required.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and shipments.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and welcoming.
- Offer information and support to clients, customers, and staff members.
- Carry out basic administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and keeping records.
- Collaborate with other departments when necessary.
- Monitor office supplies and handle procurement when needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and handling office devices.
- Good organizational skills and capability to multitask efficiently.
- Professional demeanor coupled with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Additional Information
The position reports directly to the HR Head. Monthly remuneration ranges between 20000 and 25000 INR, varying with industry standards, location, and recruiter discretion.
