Role Overview

The Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out operations, and ensuring guests experience a seamless and friendly arrival and departure. Based on-site full-time in Doha, this position also involves answering calls, handling inquiries and reservations, and providing precise information on hotel amenities and local points of interest. Additional duties include maintaining guest records, processing payments, clerical responsibilities such as filing and data entry, coordinating with housekeeping and other teams, promptly addressing guest requests or concerns, and consistently demonstrating hospitality and professionalism.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact respectfully and clearly with guests and team members.
  • Experience in front desk operations including check-in/check-out and reservation management.
  • Professional phone handling skills capable of managing multiple calls and inquiries efficiently.
  • Clerical aptitude including basic computer proficiency, data entry accuracy, filing, and documentation handling.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Doha with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous exposure to hospitality or customer-facing roles, ideally in a hotel front office environment, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay composed and professional in busy settings.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
